biography

Charlotte Rosman was born in 1925 in Matrei. The daughter of a financial officer, she spent her childhood and youth in Kufstein, Elbigenalp, Reutte and Innsbruck. She goes to the BDM as "Shank leader". According to the College of Education she is a teacher. She comes into the Zillertal. After the war she is teaching in a small elementary school on the mountain. The death of their parents caused her to move to Innsbruck. In 1947 she meets her future husband. Because of the "teachers celibacy" the couple gets married but five years later. She teaches until his retirement in 1985.
